Welcome! My research focuses on political geography, local governance, and intergovernmental relations in the United States. I am primarily interested in the role that political institutions play in determining Who gets What, Where. I also spend my time thinking about campaign finance, quantitative methods, and clever tricks to avoid crying while cleaning data.
I will be on the 2026-2027 academic job market.
I was a 2024 Parke Fellow at the Brennan Center for Justice; my focus was on redistricting and voting behavior for their Democracy Program.
Prior to NYU, I received an MA in International Policy and BA in International Relations from Stanford University. I was also a Research Data Analyst at the King Center on Global Development.
